Yeah, right. Ron and Laurie have been saying for years how they wanted to open a tasting room at the brewery. But no, they opened a restaurant, brewery and distillery on Old Mission Peninsula in Traverse City. Sure it’s beautiful, and an upcoming beer destination, but what about a tap room at the Dexter brewery where it all began?
Then… wait… what? Not again! They opened a totally awesome café and brewery on Main Street in Ann Arbor. Seriously? Ann Arbor? I mean it’s a totally hip and happening town and the café is truly fantastic – but it’s so close to Dexter, why not Dexter?
With two awesome restaurants totally cranking out great food and beers, surely a tap room at the old original brewery in the heart of downtown Dexter simply has to be next!
What? What do you mean you’ve been selling more and more sour beer, until the entire original brewery is so full of barrels that you can only cross from one end to the other by walking across the tops of barrels? You say there is no room for a nice cozy tap room, and with sales still climbing you need to build a larger brewery! Unfair.
So now, with the new brewery built, you expect me to believe you are finally going to put in a tap room?
Well, color me crazy, but I’ve believed in Jolly Pumpkin since that first sour barrel and yes, I believe they WILL build it.
Yes, we're building it just for you. Here is your opportunity to become involved in the creation of our long-awaited tasting room. You've helped us grow and spread the word on our weird award winning wares, and now you can be involved in building this taproom!
Here’s some ways you can.
